Easy passport renewals
Start an application with FedEx Office online or in-store.
You can file a claim online for a FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, or FedEx Freight® shipment that's damaged, lost, or missing contents. You'll need your tracking/PRO number and any necessary supporting documentation, such as a photo of a damaged package, serial number of lost merchandise, or copy of a receipt.
Contact Customer Service to open a case for retrieval at the wrong address. The driver will pick up the shipment. The driver will reattempt the delivery the same day if possible. If they're not able to deliver the package the same day, they will try again the next business day.
What You Can Do: If you still can't find your package and it has been over 24 hours since the 'delivered' status, use your tracking number and submit a service request to your local Post Office™.
You can monitor your incoming and outgoing packages throughout the entire delivery process and receive alerts and notifications. You can also call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 and say “track my package.” Or text “follow” plus your door tag number to 48773.

FedEx will hold your package for up to 7 days for both FedEx Ground® service and FedEx Express® service before it's returned to the shipper. You'll need to bring your tracking number, government-issued photo ID, and your door tag number.
Packages are scanned at various points between pickup and delivery. The frequency of scans varies, and it's not unusual for a shipment to go more than 24 hours without an update while it's on its way to the final destination. This is especially true during periods of long travel.
How late does FedEx Home Delivery deliver? Packages are typically delivered by 8 p.m. You can track and manage your incoming shipments by signing up for FedEx Delivery Manager.
Delivery exception/delay means there are special circ*mstances with a delivery in process. You can access FedEx Tracking to track the status of your package and view the delivery exception in the Travel History section.
If a package is delivered to an address that does not match the address label and is unretrievable, the carrier is responsible for the loss, which will be in the amount insured by the shipper, or up to $100 if the shipper did not insure the shipment. The shipper is responsible for reporting the loss to the carrier.

You can get a proof of delivery letter online – all you need to do is enter your tracking number on fedex.com tracking page. You can also get a signed proof of delivery letter which includes a signature image and shipment information.
